On Upwork, AI-powered video generation and editing has grown by 329%, becoming the fastest-growing AI skill in the 2026 report. At the same time, AI tools for creating images and video have not reduced demand for video editing, image processing, or illustration skills.

Moreover, according to Upwork’s July report, the strongest demand is concentrated around creative production and media skills.
